Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJoin Our Team as a Non-Invasive CardiologistWe are excited to announce an opportunity for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to become part of the Division of Cardiology at our Newark Beth Israel Medical Center (NBIMC). This position is ideal for those looking to be part of a dynamic, academically driven, multi-site cardiovascular program.
Position OverviewThe selected candidate will deliver exceptional, patient-focused care while enhancing advanced cardiac initiatives. As an integral member of our Division, you will engage in our academic, teaching, and quality improvement efforts, with the possibility of obtaining a faculty position at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Care: Deliver specialized inpatient services within the CCU and cardiology consult teams, collaborating with top-tier professionals in heart failure, transplant, and cardiac surgery.
- Cardiovascular Imaging: Offer expertise in our Imaging Laboratories at NBIMC and Rahway, including Echocardiography (TTE/TEE), Stress Testing, and Coronary CT/MRI.
- Ambulatory Practice: Sustain a longitudinal outpatient practice that emphasizes preventive cardiology and chronic disease management across hospital clinics and community-based Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs).
- Academic Mission: Educate and mentor cardiology fellows, residents, and medical students, with teaching and conference involvement integrated into clinical responsibilities.
- Quality & Leadership: Play a role in clinical quality enhancement, laboratory accreditation, and departmental performance metrics.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease; Level II or III Echo training is preferred.
- Must be eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey.
- Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, collaborative multidisciplinary work, and academic medicine.
- Open to both seasoned physicians and those graduating in 2026.

The expected salary range for this role is between $415,806 and $660,933. The final compensation will be determined based on various factors, including the candidate's educational qualifications, skills, and professional experience.
